The Northern Society for Domestic Peace (NSDP) has been working with reforestation companies to deliver sexual harassment and assault presentations to remote planting camps over the 2018 and 2019 seasons. By now, NSDP has spoken with many planters, supervisors and owners and heard many insights and suggestions for improving safety and well-being in camps. But we want to hear from everyone. So we have launched two short surveys to provide an opportunity for everyone currently or previously in the tree-planting industry to have their voice and their ideas heard.

- If you haven’t been impacted by either, we want to hear from you.
Please consider taking a couple moments to fill out one or both of NSDP’s surveys. The ORIGINAL survey will take less than 5 minutes and asks basic questions about sexual violence and how it presents in the planting industry. The EXPANDED survey will take approximately 10 minutes and asks more detailed questions about the issue and provides more opportunity to offer personal insights and solutions. Responses to these surveys will be collected and analyzed and used in collaboration and conversations with industry leaders, government, violence-prevention agencies and in ongoing dialogue with planters.
